Brownies Are My Favorite Sweet Treat
So as of late, several of my favorite brownies (brown skin girls) have been asking how I've kept my skin glowing all summer in such terrible humidity. As we all know, wealth doesn't develop from neglect; In other words, skin as rich as ours, needs tons of love. So how about you shower with me?! First, I derobe, which is totally the best part, right. I've been using Dove Summer care for my body wash. It's a light but creamy wash, with a fresh powdery/ floral scent. This sets the base for my moisture routine. It can be found at Walmart or most any drugstore.

Next, while I'm still damp from the shower, I spritz myself with Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil. It absorbs super quickly and traps in the moisture from my Dove shower. It is very important to not dry off until after this step, or else you'll just end up like a piece of fried chicken, greasy! Ewww, disgusting right? It smells like cocoa butter, but just a light fragrance. Nothing like the mess that some of our mothers used to use. It makes you feel all smooth, chocolatey, and yummy! I also picked this up at Walmart.

After this step, I give myself a big hug with the biggest, softest towel I can find and towel off the excess oil, making sure not to rub or irritate my skin. Lastly, I lotion my body, shoulders down with Tree Hut's Shea Body Butter. It comes in several different scents, but my personal favorite is the Coconut Lime. The texture is very rich and creamy, so it finalizes the moisture treatment and locks everything in place. Score this at Walmart, drugstores, and even Ulta. That gives you a reason to stop by Ulta to buy other useless goodies! Thank me later girls!
