Hate is a Poison; Love is the Remedy.

A recent conversation with a dear friend sparked a flow of eye-opening story exchange. The hate that exists in this world is unbelievable. It's not my place to speak on the events that took place in Ferguson, because I was not there. I can read and study details of the case, but it's human nature to sway information in the favor of our concerned party. There's no way to know who was right or wrong, but we undeniably know that another life has been lost. Regardless of specifics, one thing is for certain, racism is embedded so deep in our system that we don't have a clue how to even begin to shake it. People have to understand that God created lightness and darkness of skin tones to ONLY serve the purpose of differentiation. Race should not hold the power to exclude, kill, promote, favor, or execute others. Once we take that power away, race can revert back to it's original form of intent, to diversify. Race should excite and intrigue us to know that people of other races exist to teach us things about the world that we could not find out on our own. It should spark a fire in us to know that others have knowledge that we would otherwise not have access to, if it weren't for them simply being. How did something intended to be so beautiful, turn into the ugliest mark in the world today?
